What to expect at a typical voice lesson with Julia...

Following the Somatic Voicework™ method, our voice lessons begin with an evolving series of vocal exercises, tailored specifically to your voice by your teacher. These exercises are designed to strengthen and balance your singing voice, while addressing common problems such as vocal strain, unwanted breathiness, and pitch matching struggles. As for the rest of class, it all depends on your personal goals! You'll have the opportunity to: ​

  • Learn to interpret and perform the songs you love beautifully and with true emotion

  • Expand your vocal range

  • Develop and move freely between vocal registers
