Being a good teacher starts with listening. At Paper Moon, we are dedicated to adapting our music lessons to your individual needs and goals. We have worked with students of all kinds, from total beginners to professional musicians, from self-taught songwriters to students who struggle to sing on pitch. Whatever your musical background, we have the tools and experience to help you deepen your practice at any level.   

We teach voice and guitar to all levels, for adults and kids ages 9+, privately or in small groups, in Chicago and online. We accept students who are interested in studying either instrument, or both simultaneously. Our approach is flexible and fun. We want all of our students—singers and guitarists alike—to have the opportunity to become well-rounded musicians, with strong foundations in theory and technique, as well as a repertoire of songs they actually love to practice!
